Hello,

Is there a way to find topics you have tagged to "Watch for replies"? I know the AVS forums has this options, but couldn't find anything here. Do I just need to post to any topic I would like to "remember"?

Thanks,

Right, but what if no reply is posted? Is there a way to "search" the forum for all threads that I have checked to "Notify me when a reply is posted"?

you can add a reply to the thread then search 'my posts'

Ok, I figured that was the only way, just wanted to make sure. There are a few threads that I know I will want to come back to later, but don't have anything to add to the discussion at the time. The AVS forums has a way to search for any thread that you are "watching" even if you haven't posted to that thread. I just wanted to verify that there wasn't that type of option here before I posted essentially just for the sake of posting.

Opel70 -

You can click the link for "Watch this topic for replies" without having to post in a thead. It will be at the very bottom of the most recent reply in the lefthand side.

Yes, I know you can do that. Let's say that I have done that on, say, 12 different threads. How do I find those specific threads again? As I have mentioned (several times in fact), in the AVS forums they have an option in your user profile page to view all of your "subscribed" threads. So you can immediately find all of the threads that you have marked to watch, even if you haven't posted to them.

From what I have seen here, there doesn't seem to be that sort of a search capability. So I will just start posting to threads that I want to be able to easily find again.

There are mods out there for phpBB to do this. But doing so would complicate the upgrades of the forum software.
