Man I can't wait for the new 24 Season to get underway. For some apparent reason I find myself glued to the TV when Lost and 24 is on. I was on Crave and read some inside news on the up and coming season (pretty much what to expect). For all 24 junkies out there (you know who you are) check this out...

Jack Bauer Interview

I just realized due to the conflict on my upcoming recordings page that 24 and Heroes are opposite each other. Only one HD tuner in my backend, so b'bye Heroes...

Excellent show! Can't wait. Going through season 5 DVD now as a refresher. Had started watching several hours into 5. Airport scenes. Got hooked, watched S1-S4 DVDs with wifey over the summer. There are entire weeks unaccounted for, during the summer....

Anyway, watch your schedules - it starts sunday, then shifts to monday. So use the "any time on this channel".
"The CW" network is running old versions, so don't use "any time on ANY channel".

No problem, you can watch heroes online anytime. I used to pick up rebroadcasts from SciFi, but they dropped it. You can watch alot of old episodes on NBC. http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_ep ... roes.shtml

As for 24, the writers seem to be really getting lazy with the timelines. This one in particular bugs the heck out of me:

Quote:
10:49 A.M.
Buchanan thanks Assad for his intel and ships him off to Washington, per order of the President.

Quote:
1:16 P.M.
...the President gets word that Assad has landed at Andrews Air Force Base.

Let's see, 1049 Assad at CTU, 1316 he has landed at Andrews?

I was wondering about that--it seemed like he arrived way too quickly. Guess they arranged an Aurora flight for him :) ...

(actually, from that article it looks like the Aurora is yesterday's news...)

I'm not trying to hound 24 lovers, but I think it is always good to question what you are watching.

Let me start with: I am fully aware that 24 is not real.

With that said, one aspect of the show is played off as "real", the 24 hour realtime clock. I have had some problems (no bathroom breaks, no one seems to eat very much, people just don't get tired enough after 24+ hours of this intense action, etc...) with the realtime show. But the biggest thing to me is not paying attention to how long something takes in real life. The 6+ hour flight reduced to 2+ hours was just too much.
