The segment I did on Call For Help with Leo Laporte about KnoppMyth aired today on the G4 TechTV Canadian Network and on the How To Network in Australia. It will repeat tonight and tomorrow on those networks and if you google for the Call For Help tracker i'm sure you can get it via bit torrent. |

Downloading 191MB XviD .avi right now. I couldn't get the main tracker site to respond, but the Google cache had the link. Just Google "call for help tracker" http://cfhtracker.info/ I'm not sure if this is legit.  I couldn't find the $.99 videos on Google video.

The MythTV segment starts at about 40 minutes into the show. (without commercials) Not an in-depth review, but good publicity. They claim built in encrypted DVD support though.

Hi, Caught that also but isn't this show out of Canada so would not be an issue? Would be nice if some talented folks could do a show and tell for KM, a little 3 ~ 4 minute follow up to linuxmce & call for help as I don't believe those that don't have KM or seen KM fully understand what Cecil, Dale & their team have unleashed for the world.. Very cool! My only suggestion is to mention the extras provided by KnoppMyth over a baseline MythTV installation, such as mythstream, mythstreamtv, secured MythWeb, integrated backup / restore features, etc. Also the automated tweaks that do lots of stuff for you. My entire exposure to MythTV has been through KnoppMyth, so I don't know the full list of extras, but I'm sure others could fill in the gaps. |
