My machine has only 450 Mhz of CPU power: that being said, I would prefer to use a CPU efficient player: is that VLC or WMP? Thanks. |

VLC but your congif is underpower. Should have a pvr350 with the tv out. Bye Bob |

Yes, this machine (laptop) is used primarily for text (putty, Word Processing, E-mail. Web browsing) and occasionaly watching movie clips It also works well as an MP3 player. I am going with VLC: I suspect that it is slightly leaner than WMP. Those dual core laptops sure do look tasty. |

VLC is good, you could also try Media Player Classic, it is also very small and resource lite. http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ |
