From my work computer I do not check "Log me in automatically on future visits" (or however it's phrased) on the log in screen. I enter my username and password and hit login. I see my name added to the list of online users, but the actual forums are still hidden from me, and If I try to hand-type Known URL's I get the "You must be logged in to do this" message.

Once I log in a second time everything works fine.

What cheeses me off about this is that "View posts since last visit" also seems to be recognizing the first login since the list always ends up empty. (I presume if someone posted in the 5 seconds between my first and second login I would see thoir post)

Has anyone else seen this behavior before? I presume some session cookie is getting dropped. Browser configuration? I am running ie6.
