No, I'll be out of town for the anniversary of the first public release (Aug 9th). But I was working hard on the first release four years ago. There should also be a new release out hopefully that weekend! |

Thanks for the clarification, Cecil. So we are not celebrating the first public release (which comes 6 days later) but celebrating your hard work on getting it ready for that release. Ok, fair enough. You certainly deserve credit for all that effort. Come and join us folks. Bring your favorite beverage & consume, enjoy, and perhaps consume some more. |

Four years? Crazy. Just want to say, thanks a million Cecil. Your work has been much appreciated over the past couple of years. Also, thanks to everyone who has contributed, directly (contributors, testers etc.) and to those who've shared the knowledge. I've learnt a lot just by reading about things other people have done. Personally I'd also like to thank those who have tried to help me out when I've been asking my own questions... (no matter how lame) I'm away for two weeks as of tomorrow so will miss the celebrations. At the point you'll be cracking the first one open, I'll be just about to get on the plane for the return journey. Thanks again Chris |
