I was having trouble with one of my FE's and the problem turned out to be the stock Intel heatsink/fan. Specificly, one of the feet of the hs/fan have a broken pin (the clear/white plastic part that snaps into your mobo). My hs/fan with the broken pin is otherwise perfect. I'd hate to just bring it to the recycle center. Anyone have a dead stock S775 Intel heatsink/fan with good feet? |

I just replaced the stock Intel fan in my SBE w/ a Thermaltake Silent 775. The stock fan I have works, it was just loud. You can have it if you want. Unfortunately, I'm leaving town on Monday, so PM me... |

I have a bunch of stock Core 2 Duo heatsinks, too, if you can't make arrangements with Cecil before he leaves. |
