Post subject: | Windows Question |
I have an RSS Ticker Widget that I would like to always be able to see. I can set it to always on top, but when I maximize a program, it will overlap. Does anyone know of a program that will set the widget to the same "level" as the Windows Taskbar so that my programs will maximize accordingly? Another idea would a tweak that would change Windows' default window maximize size from 1280x785 to 1280x760 or something. Thanks |

you'll have better luck in a windoze forum. |

Yeah you're probably right. I figure that out of the thousands of members here, if one person has done something like this, then I'll get a good answer. In a random Windows forum, who knows. |

I don't think you'll have any luck modifying the behavior of the window. But you may find a ticker that you like that runs as a sidebar widget/gadget. Pick your flavor of Vista, Google, or Yahoo. They all behave pretty much the same, afaik, and effectively rope off an area that's honored when other apps are maximized. |
