Wow, he kind of botched that demo, didn't he? He managed to crash his Myth system numerous times by doing silly things -- e.g. trying to show off a feature that requires networking with no network connected. I'm sure he's extremely intelligent, but he gave a convincing display of why a labby should never demo a product.

Geez, now he's starting it up for, what, the third time? He hasn't managed to play a DVD yet. Ouch!

When I watched it I came away with two thoughts (and these appear in no particular order):

- Some very cool new features in 0.21
- BAAAAAAAD sales pitch

Shame really. Some really nice new features coming.

I basically agree with the other opinions here, but I was thrilled to learn of mythnettv. While I don't like the fact that it has to transcode to make things palatable for MythTV's internal player, it is exciting to see videos alongside recorded programs, which is really the way it should be.

Interesting stuff! But he missed, IMO, the biggest advantage of Storage Groups: it'll be easy to expand your system, without having to fiddle with your file system (particularly, I'm talking about expanding LVMs).
