| Post subject: | Mythweb not working |
Hi everyone, first off I'm still kind of a newbie with linux and this is my first time building a mythtv. I've installed the newest version R5F1 with not much problem, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is mythweb. I tried typing in my address in firefox from my other computer and I get prompted for my username/password for mythtv but I just continue to get prompted over and over again. I even tried doing it locally on my Knoppmyth computer through firefox (127.0.0.1) and get the same problem. I've tried reinstalling with no success. I know I'm using the right username and password I established during setup. Can anyone give me some insight into what could be wrong? Thanx |

it's the mythtv user that you use...at least that's the one I use. |

That was the problem! I thought the default was mythtv,mythtv. But it was actually mythtv,(my own password). Thanks! |
