I just took my own advice and put my money where my (big) mouth is! 
I've been stressing over the fact that I just can't find mainboards with 3 or more PCI slots for my capture cards. I just figured out I can ditch my one HD-2000, keep my two HD-3000s and add the HD HomeRun. I'll go from three to four capture devices and only need two PCI slots. Mythic.TV is great! I'm trying to convince my wife to let me build a new box and I'm seeing the same thing. There are hardly any boards out there now with more than 2 pci slots (or at least any that meet my criteria). So, I'll probably end up with a box with a PVR-500 and my hd-3000 and have to find something to do with my two Air2PC (rev 0.2) and PVR-250. I'm definitely buying one of these though when she will let me spend some money. |
