I just received a sweet vintage amp/receiver that's about 30 years old. It needs a little work and I'm trying to find good resources to have it worked on. Specifically, the tuner is broken and I'd like to get that fixed. It's a Pioneer SX-680 from 1976/77.

funny that in 1976 that was a 'sweet reciever'. then in the 80's it was probably juat a 'reciever'. 90's Junk .... now 'Sweet Vinage Reciever'

I just found an old crate of vinyl in the attic...now i need a 'vintage turntable' :)

The receiver had a Technics direct drive turn table and a nice tape deck as part of the package but I think that's already called for. I think the base of the turntable (it's a 2 piece thing with fluid filled mounts) weighs about 50 pounds all by itself.
