Brian -- will you be able to make it?

Unfortunately, a family emergency came up and I will be out-of-town for the entire weekend. Bummer, I was really looking forward to being part of this grand event! :(

I sent an email to Carl, to see if he can make it. He was talking about going skiing, but I'll get an update.

I feel sorry for those who could not make it, because we had a truly memorable time hosting Cecil on his Northern California adventure. Many computer stores were raided, many restaurants were visited, and not one drop of blood spilled -- except perhaps on the movie screen...

As it turns out, Cecil is a fantastic bloke in real life -- just as you'd expect from his presence here on the forum! I hope for many returns to N. Calif. in the future.

PLUS -- the N. Calif. LinHES group is now planning its road trip to SCALE in 2011! Don't miss it!

Cecil, we did have a great time and I'm really glad we had a chance to meet. You're welcome to stay at our place any time you visit. I look forward to getting together again soon!

OK -- it's been a long time since we've gotten together. I'm taking next week off -- anyone interested in getting together?

I'd be up for our usual Sunday gig. Anyone up for Fiesta Del Mar Too?

Joe B.

Another choice is a nice crepe place that we found in downtown Palo alto

I think Jake is in town this weekend -- you want to meet this Sunday, 12/19 at noon?

Crepes? Yeah, if you really want to... But give me a good mexican meal every time! Noon sounds good either way. Lemme know which place and I'll be there.

I emailed Jake last night and we're set for the Crepe place. We could try to switch to Mexican, but I'll need to check w/ him to see if he's OK with that. I'll give you a call on your cell phone around 11 to confirm everything.

Joe, we're re-directing to Fiesta Del Mar Too in Mountain View. I'll give you a call shortly. We're meeting at noon today.

For anyone else that wants to join us (on such short notice), the address is:

735 Villa St
Mountain View, CA 94041
(650) 967-3525

Sounds like that was fun. Can we try again for a January date?

Sounds good to me -- how about Sunday, Jan 16? If that doesn't work, just suggest another date -- I'm fairly open that month.

Drive a stake in the ground, and they will come. Or not!

I'll probably be there but that's so far in the future I can't see thru the mists in my crystal ball. What is that, WEEKS from now?!?

OK -- consider the stake driven -- Sunday, Jan 16 at noon -- location to be announced shortly.

RSVP!
