So I've been working on a Pundit-R LinHES install for a few weeks. (LinHES installed fine, but I've been wrestling with bios, RAM, video drivers, HD playback.) So last night I finally get the ($#@!) bios and Sparkle 8400 card to play 'nicer', finally get 1080i playback to work flawlessly, tweaked settings, etc, it's all working just right... So I button up the box, take it off the 'test bench' (read kitchen table) plug it all back together and... AND...

:evil: :evil: Hard Drive Click of Death!!! :evil: :evil:

I was hoping to limp this ide drive thru and get a netboot system going... but now I'm wiping down my 'drawing board' for plan E. :cry:

At least I took some notes down and this next setup should be fairly smooth... [/moan time]
