So first I'm sooooooo glad eveything is back up and running and I love the look of the new forums........ but I saw a post about the intel chip the I3 and it made me realize that these are sans-serif fonts so capital i and lower case l are very similar l3 I3 ..... well not when they are right next to each other they don't but I can just see problems re-typing commands and confusing letters. Is there a way to change my fonts?

Not to mention the 13... and O0 as well. BUT...

Code:
You can put things in a CODE block if the differences are critical...
I3, l3, 13

But like you, I don't see a way to change my default viewing font. One thing you may try -- maybe changing browser defaults will affect it. Or, get a Mac (just kidding) because the san-serif fonts look nice on my Mac.

I think that the font is part of my "contrast" problem with the new forum. I find it really hard to read because it's got such skinny lines that there's not enough black per character cell, add the blue/gray background and the contrtast levels get even worse. Telling firefox to always use my font selection improves readability significantly. BTW - Did the font size get smaller too?

Ouch. Far too true... The past 3+ years slaving away for my robotic overlords has probably aged me about 10 years. It's certainly left very little time for working on outside projects like KnoppMyth/LinHES.

On the other hand, after one of the recent Firefox 10.something updates, I noticed quite a few pages were suddenly sporting substantially smaller fonts. Aging that much in the minutes that the update took seems very unlikely, so it was probably some change in default font, or font family, or font handling rules, or ... We're talking about a 15-20% reduction in apparent point size, because it took bumping the minimum font size up two steps (on multiple machines) to get things back to "normal".
