I notice that people have to list the gear they are using when they have a problem that needs to be solved. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a little button next to the profile that just said "My Setup" and it listed every piece of hardware and software being used in your current MythTV setup. Obviously it's up to the user to keep it up to date. I do a similar thing in my signature however this screws up search results.

The problem is when people change their setup. I've seen several posts that refer to the hardware in their signature which later dont make sense because the hardware has been upgraded since the post was made.
Your proposed button would have to insert the users current setup into the post so that it didn't get automatically updated like the signature does.

the other option you can use is the link to your SMOLT system profile. As long as you have submitted your system to the database and your system ID, you can refer anyone to your current hardware.

Where are those? I think I had some weird problem with SMOLT I'll have to look at uploading it again.
