Post subject:  New egg pain - First time newbie build
Needed somewhere to express my frustrations ..

Just recieved my Antec Aria and chaintech 7nif2 board from new egg .. My case is somewhat damaged.. quick release tabs are chipped, case edges are chipped and finally the jumper lead from the power button has come loose hence i needed to boot using the reset button :(

Then after that ... the chaintech board turned out to be defective .. constant woodpecker like hum from the internal speaker after initial POST and also i cant get logged into the bios .. :( as teh keyboard wont work despite no problems from the POST.


New egg have normally been good to me ... and i suppose the mobo isnt really anything todo with them just have to wait till tomorrow before i can rma this..

i feel your pain there
fedex syndrome is the absolute worse

i tried getting a clear acrylic case for a guy and it took 6 of them and 3 weeks for them to get it right
frustrated i had the person in shipping write on the box in big day glow orange "do not kick or drop" in english and spanish ..... when it finally came to the door .. .there it was .... do not kick or drop .... and the case wasnt damaged ...... LOL
