I know it's been mentioned before, but I cobbled together a link that lets people search the KnoppMyth forum using Google instead of the built in searching engine. I guess there's a delay in the messages cached through Google, but the search engine is much more powerful than PHPBBS can manage on its own. See the sig below. Any tips for improvements?

Just copy it from my sig and put it in yours. I don't use DRM and I couldn't care less about my personal copyright protection! Then all you have to do is find one of your own posts and the link is there!

I can usually re-locate the link when it gets "misplaced" which only happens when my profile gets messed at work or when I do an complete install of KnoppMyth (usually do upgrade)

I was thinking more for the new people when they come to the forum for the first few times trying to solve their own problems. Your tweaked search tool really helps a lot combined with the built in search, one can usually fine a clue. I forget what the number of posts is currently, but it is a few! And that's not counting yours either

I use 'site search' with firefox's googlebar works great

site:mysettopbox.tv "site search" in a google search field
