Is there a way to look at all the threads I am watching without searching for them manually. Rkshack |

I find the "new posts since last visit" pretty effective. I can usually spot the ones I'm following which have new additions. |

I wish there were a was to view post since a provided time. I always use the 'since last login' but If I dont get through all of the posts or the login time gets reset (new browser window) then it can be difficult to locate new posts. |

If someone can find a 'board' that does this, has other advantages over phpBB2, I'm willing to listen.... ![]() |

Im with you k. A number of times I have accidentally closed my browser and then I cant easily see the recent topics that I have yet to read. Perhaps we should suggest it to phpbb. |

I poked around and found this on the phpbb support forums. I don't know much about web design but i think this may be helpful. It gives a time period for looking up posts. Code: <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" border="0" align="center">
<tr> <td align="left" valign="bottom"><span class="gensmall"> </span><span class="nav"><a href="http://www.phpbbhacks.com/phpbbhacks/contactus.php" class="nav">Problem? Feedback? Please contact us.</a></span><br> <span class="gensmall"> The time now is November 12th 2005, 2:45 pm<br /> </span><span class="nav"><a href="index.php" class="nav">phpBBHacks.com Support Forums Forum Index</a></span></td> <td align="right" valign="bottom" class="gensmall"> <form name="LastVisitFrm" action="search.php" method="post"> <select name="search_time" size="1" onchange="SetLastVisit();" class="gensmall"> <option value="1" SELECTED> Select time </option> <option value="15"> 15 min</option> <option value="30"> 30 min</option> <option value="45"> 45 min</option> <option value="60"> 1 Hour</option> <option value="120"> 2 Hours</option> <option value="360"> 6 Hours</option> <option value="720"> 12 Hours</option> <option value="1440"> 1 Day</option> <option value="10080"> 7 Days</option> <option value="43200"> 1 Month</option> </select> <input type="hidden" name="search_author" value="*"> <input type="hidden" name="show_results" value="topics">or<br /> <a href="search.php?search_id=unanswered" class="gensmall">View unanswered posts</a></td></form> </tr> </table> Hereis a sample. Look to the right over the forum listings. |
