Hi Greg,

Got your patch, got the source, patched and installed, but unfortunately I still get this error when I use your suggested nvtv command (nvtv -S PAL -t -r 800,576 -s Medium --set Saturation:-30 --set Contrast#:10)

Code:
Fatal: Cannot find 'Medium' mode 800 x 576
Please specify as e.g. -r 800,600 -s Large

When I build it, I use these commands. Notice the --prefix=/usr part. This makes it install on top of the existing one (I think). It may be that you now have two versions installed in different places and you are still running the original version.

Code:
cd /usr/src
tar xvfz ~mythtv/nvtv-0.4.7.tar.gz
cd /usr/src/nvtv-0.4.7
patch -p1 -b < ~mythtv/nvtv-0.4.7-extra-overscans.diff
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

Still get the same dough... getting crazy over here.

Anyway, I went to the Appearance setup and managed to stretch the GUI width/height and offset so now it properly fills the window with no buttons left outside... but it was a pain.

The only problem left now is, I'm using the "Internal" player for playback of videos, and whenever I play a widescreen .avi-file (some sort of xvid movie, like Das Boot) I get a fat blue line on the top. Before I used nvtv I used to get a thin blue line to the top and left, but now I only get this fat one. It's annoying as hell!!

Blue Lines Fix:
http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ght=xvattr

Its a shame you couldn't get nvtv to play the game because the re-scaling that will occur as a result of your changing the gui size will effect your image quality. Not sure what else I can do to help though.
