Is it possible to up(down)grade to R5A22 from R5A26? I want to move to the newer version of mythtv....

Is it possible? Yes. Do I recommend it? No. Don't get me wrong R5A22 has generally treated me quite well, but I would recommend a bit of patience since it could save you some grief.

If you are keen madb0o you could download the latest SVN release of MythTV and compile it yourself as this would be much more up to date the R5A22.

This would be for experienced travelers and not something that would be done by a newb, such as johnjohn.
