Has anyone mad a howto on customizing a knoppmyth boot cd, so that it will boot straight to knoppmyth without asking any questions?

If not, what tools should I look into to explode the boot cd, modify it and then create another bootable CD. If no one has done this yet, I'd be glad to write the howto once I'm done. Idealy it would all be done from the myth backend, since it is likely the only linux box for many knoppmyth users.

There may be a better solution If your frontends support booting from the network then use the knoppmyth terminal server. As root on your backend put the cd in and run prep-ts

I would be interested in this if you get it working. Something like Damn Small Linux does with MyDSL's a config file that you could add to the cd that myth would pull the settings from.

What exactly does terminal server do? Is it much of the load on the backend server?

Remastering KnoppMyth is the same process as remastering Knoppix. Knoppix.net has plenty of info on remastering.
