So, i've got an AMD 3000+ system running as my backend with a PVR 150. It's working excellent and recording several shows per day. No issues there, it seems to be running fine.

My frontend, which sits in the basement is an AMD 2400+ in a shuttle case, it's been connected for a week or so to the backend system, and playback is looking good. It's connecting to the database, I'm able to schedule recordings from it, everything is good. Except that today when I went to clean up the wiring and move the enterntainment cabinet around (had to reboot the frontend) I noticed that the frontend app is not loading itself automatically. I dont' recall this being the case when I initally setup.

I'm pretty sure my version is R530.2 (but honestly, I'm not sure how to check - I didn't label my burnt CD, and the download is long gone). If i open a terminal window and type 'mythfrontend' everything fires up and works, but I'm too much of a newb to know how to get that setup automatically. I just get the "knoppmyth" window with the penguin sittin on the couch looking at the TV. Right click->apps->graphics no longer contains the myth option (like my backend does) I have to run it from a prompt. What did I break, and how do I fix it, anyone have suggestions?

Code:
cat /etc/KnoppMyth-version

The starting of the frontend is controlled thru ~/.flubox/apps. It should look like:
Quote:
[startup] {xset -dpms s off}
[startup] {KnoppMyth-run}
[startup] {launch_irx.sh}
[app] (SDL_App)
[Layer] {2}
[Deco] {NONE}
[end]
