I've recently installed a first gen Air2PC card using R5A30.2. On bootup scrolling info, I see that it complained about not finding dvb-fe-bcm3510-01.fw. I can't find it anywhere, does anyone have it to post?

I thought Mythtv0.19 included all drivers/firmware for the Air2PC, but apparently not.

I grepped dmesg for flexcop:
dmesg | grep flexcop
b2c2-flexcop: B2C2 FlexcopII/II(b)/III digital TV receiver chip loaded successfully
flexcop-pci: will use the HW PID filter.
flexcop-pci: card revision 2
b2c2-flexcop: MAC address = 00:d0:d7:30:19:5b
b2c2-flexcop: i2c master_xfer failed
b2c2-flexcop: i2c master_xfer failed
b2c2-flexcop: i2c master_xfer failed
b2c2-flexcop: i2c master_xfer failed
b2c2-flexcop: found the bcm3510 at i2c address: 0x0f
b2c2-flexcop: initialization of 'Air2PC/AirStar 2 ATSC 1st generation' at the 'PCI' bus controlled by a 'FlexCopIIb' complete

And for the heck of it, I used azap to see if I could see a station, but no luck:

root@mythtv:/# azap WAXN
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 689000000 Hz
video pid 0x0000, audio pid 0x0000

i have it but don't know how to post it.

it goes here
/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-bcm3510-01.fw

my card is recognized in R5B7 without it, but haven't actually tried to use it yet.

Thanks for the offer 8) , another member (entourage) kindly placed it on his server for me to download. I've been away from Linux for quite while, but I assume you can place files on a web or ftp server and people can use wget to retrieve the file(s).

It recognized the card, but I believe R5A30.2 only had the frontend part and not the firmware. Maybe R5B7 includes the firmware now.

I'm able to record, but not watch. Need to get it to recognize the (commwell 667T) CN400 VIA video. I need to get XFree 4.5 , unichrome pro drivers and recompile.... It doesn't like mplayer -vo xvmc. Used -vo x11 and it runs a 720x480 SD clip at 95% CPU...
