Any help would be appreciated. Have installed knoppmyth but there is no data for my area (Darwin) using tv_grab_au -version 0.6 i think. From what i gather there is updated versions that does have this data, but i have no Idea about how to change it.

Do I need this data to tune into local channels? I've tried to manually do this but get nowhere fast.. Scan doesnt work either.

Hi there,
You don't need the data to tune channels. Which version of Knoppmyth you using?
You need to know the frequencies on the TV stations in your area, in your case Darwin.
In Melbourne is 226500000;219500000;191625000;177500000;536500000;
this numbers are frequencies (in Melbourne) and you need to put them to "TRANSPORT" (that mean if you want to set them manualy)
This numbers you need setup before you can run scan!
