using mozilla. and knoppmyth the flashplayer file is on desktop and its tar plz advise me i was born with the linuxnoob disease.

Set up your mozilla preferences first and check all is working, txwx.com has some buttons that will turn blue if flash is good.

As root, here is what I do for flash:
Run the following script in the same directory as the tar file

mkdir /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins
tar zxvf install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz
cp install_flash_player_7_linux/*.xpt /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/
cp install_flash_player_7_linux/*.so /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/
cp *.xpt /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/
cp *.so /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/
chown mythtv:mythtv /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/*

retry txwx.com ...
