using mozilla. and knoppmyth the flashplayer file is on desktop and its tar plz advise me i was born with the linuxnoob disease. |

Hi, Set up your mozilla preferences first and check all is working, txwx.com has some buttons that will turn blue if flash is good. As root, here is what I do for flash: Run the following script in the same directory as the tar file #!/bin/sh # mkdir /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins tar zxvf install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz cp install_flash_player_7_linux/*.xpt /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/ cp install_flash_player_7_linux/*.so /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/ cp *.xpt /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/ cp *.so /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/ chown mythtv:mythtv /home/mythtv/.mozilla/plugins/* retry txwx.com ...
