Hi I have some question about installing knoppmyth and how to set it up. I am planning to have a backend with a frontend hooked up to my TV. The backend is going to be a Dell Dimesion 2400 with: 2.53 Ghz Pentium 4 768 RAM Integrated Intel Video Integrated Sound Hauppage PVR-150 40 GB HD The HD is pretty small so I was thinking about mounting a SATA drive on my linux box through NFS. For the frontend, I would like to use an Xbox Does this sound like it will be OK and how hard will it be to set up? I haven't actually bought the HD, but will the SATA be easy to use? Is it OK that the fronted will be trying to access files that aren't physically on the backend? I have an HDTV with a Comcast Motorola box so would I just put the Xbox through another video input, or is there a better way to do this? Any comments or suggestion are welcome. If you need more info please ask. Thanks in advance for any help. EDIT: I just noticed that I posted this in the wrong installation forum.
