Hello, Since i use the tv-out of my pvr-350 i'm not able to put to volume in my sound card for listening livetv. It only work on the composite cable and only for the left channel. For listening video or music there have no problem trought the sound card! So i'll hope you got the answer guys! Thanks Chris |

Man to be honest, the PVR 350 is probably has the most mature drivers of all of the Hauppauge line for Linux. It just works. Suggestions: - Upgrade to a newer release than R5C7, (R5E50 Suggested). PVR350 setup is automagic in R5C7 and newer. - Try moving it to another slot. - Try to drop and recreate your PVR Card - Look for clues here: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... stallation - Give a bit more detail. You knoppmyth version, how your hardware is configured, what you've tried. You would have received a reply sooner if you had given more detail. |

Just checking - you do realise that the sound output from the TV out of the 350 has to be fed back into the line-in on your sound card, otherwise you can't control it? (You also need to make sure that the option about sound control for the 350 under setup is set correctly, can't remember the exact details). |

ok, thanks for the reply! I got r5e50 release. And i'll check and i got a link between my tv tuner and my soundcard who was working with previous release but without the tv-out that i was unable to make it work... Do i got a setting to check? thanks |

I'm trying to setup mine 350 TV out but without a success. I first used R5D1 running setup_350.sh as a root; the only thing I got is an crashed X due to " ~ no screen exist". I also followed number of " go-ogled howto's" and ended up with my 350 unusable. Now I end up installing R5E50, 350 is back operational; I didn't allow the setup to enable 350's TV out, I have to gather some new "Intell" first. Also I have some picture quality issues on some channels, they work perfect if I feed my cable directly to TV. Fine tuning doesn't help. What are your experiences. Would you mind to share some knowledge? THANKS |
