You may need to use the legacy version driver 7184. Read the linked chapter from nvidia.

If the machine is going to be a dedicated DVR it will be much easier.

I'm trying out myth 0.20 on Fecora Core 6. I can't get the TV-OUT to work. It was working fine with FC4. I tried nvidia drivers 9755, 9631 and 9629. The display works okay on the intitial boot screens, and then tv screen just blinks and goes blank onces when X starts. Has anybody here gotten TV OUT to work with a GeForce 4 card, on FC6, if yes, what driver version worked for you? Thanks. |

Thanks for that!! I have been vexing for DAYS how to get my monitor and TV working together (like they do at boot), and as soon as X starts I get either monitor, or TV not both. LOL I will try twin-view when I get keen & brave enough! Thanks heaps for that TVBox. |
