From spending a day looking at the posts re this subject it looks like no one seems to have a completely working nuvexport ( all options working ). I followed the wiki directions : http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=VideoIpod Successfully installed ffmpeg : FFmpeg version SVN-r8726, Copyright (c) 2000-2007 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --enable-xvid --enable-gpl --enable-libfaac --prefix=/usr libavutil version: 49.4.0 libavcodec version: 51.40.3 libavformat version: 51.12.1 built on Apr 13 2007 12:39:38, gcc: 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-12) I can use ffmpeg to create xvid files that work fine with iTunes/Ipod. However, nuvexport seems to be useless now. The nuvexport version: 0.3 0.20060904.svn from the wiki does not work with anything beyound the basic DVD,SVCD,VCD. Xvid and Ipod both hang after invoking ffmpeg. ffmpeg will work by itself from the command line. Does anyone have a working combo of nuvexport and ffmpeg that supports the xvid and iPod options from nuvexport? I am running a r5c7 knoppmyth server. Thanks |
