| Post subject: | How to send MythTV to PVR-350, but console to nVidia? |
I'd like to maintain how MythTV is sending everything out through the PVR-350 output, but add a second connection to the TV through the graphics card's S-Video for the command line (like the boot up screens and that console mode, ALT-SHIFT-F1 thing). It works fine when I use the VGA port to a computer monitor, but the TV seems to lockup when using S-Video after it asks for a "mode" (40x28?) and then "populates /dev". I've read on here about upgrading graphics card drivers and editing an xorg.conf, but I'd rather not screw it up if that's not the right path. Any tips?
