(Mythwelcome reports that system is idle and nothing is due to record for at least 30 minutes) In mythwelcome --setup, the Command to Shutdown; sudo shutdown -h now When I select the Exit (from Mythwelcome 'M" popup dialog), I return to terminal; It seems like the shutdown command syntax is wrong: sh-3.00$ mythwelcome 2007-05-20 21:46:50.156 Using runtime prefix = /usr 2007-05-20 21:46:50.197 New DB connection, total: 1 2007-05-20 21:46:50.199 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host: localhost 2007-05-20 21:46:50.200 Total desktop dim: 800x600, with 1 screen[s]. 2007-05-20 21:46:50.201 Using screen 0, 800x600 at 0,0 2007-05-20 21:46:50.209 Total desktop dim: 800x600, with 1 screen[s]. 2007-05-20 21:46:50.209 Using screen 0, 800x600 at 0,0 2007-05-20 21:46:50.210 Switching to square mode (Titivillus) 2007-05-20 21:46:50.314 New DB connection, total: 2 2007-05-20 21:46:50.314 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host: localhost Could not initialize /dev/input/js0 open: Permission denied ioctl JSIOCGAXES: Bad file descriptor 2007-05-20 21:46:50.403 Connecting to backend server: 127.0.0.1:6543 (try 1 of 5) 2007-05-20 21:46:50.409 Using protocol version 26 2007-05-20 21:46:50.543 mythshutdown --startup returned: 1 Usage: shutdown [-akrhfnc] [-t secs] time [warning message] -a: use /etc/shutdown.allow -k: don't really shutdown, only warn. -r: reboot after shutdown. -h: halt after shutdown. -f: do a 'fast' reboot (skip fsck). -F: Force fsck on reboot. -n: do not go through "init" but go down real fast. -c: cancel a running shutdown. -t secs: delay between warning and kill signal. ** the "time" argument is mandatory!
