I want to change the default res. at install. I am using the cd for the frontend only. My TV doesn't recognize the default of 800x600 so I want to change it when I type tv[enter]. I FOUND IT IN THE WIKI. |

for no TV out: knoppmyth alsa<ENTER> with TV out: knoppmyth alsa screen=800x600<ENTER> (This will set your video adapter to a resolution of 800x600. Note: You'll still need to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 to change the refresh rate or you CAN destroy your TV. ) The info is on the knoppmythwiki.org the installation link. |
