| Post subject: | Starting ePSXe from Mythgame |
Hello, On to the next mission for my Mythtv! I wanted to setup and run emulation of my backed-up PSX games. I have installed ePSXe with all the nessesary plugins as described here: http://web.archive.org/web/200703310205 ... sxe_howto/ The mythtv wiki points to this site as a good general how-to for epsxe installation on linux. Although they do make and edit to one of there steps saying: "To make this work with MythGame a few changes have to be made: The script suggested at step 10 needs a slight modification: change this line -- ./epsxe to this -- ./epsxe -nogui -loadiso $1 This will allow you to run iso/bin files from within MythGame, however, it won't work for loading cds" When I run this script in xterm it says there is a segmentation fault on that line of the script. When running in Mythtv the game/emulator just doesn't load. I am really confused. Does anyone have mythgame launching ePSXe from their frontend? PS. Running R5F1. |

Nevermind. Spent the night fidling with it and solved it with %s in the mythgame command options. |

How well does it work on your system? I'd be interested to know if you figure out any tips to getting it working. |
