I have been running previous versions of knoppmyth on my Intel DG965WH setting the SATA drive to AHCI and using the intelfix perimeter. Now using the 5.5 boot CD I get the old "Can't find KNOPPIX filesystem, sorry." error. Itel fix doesn't seem to work any more! I even tried knoppmyth all-generic-ide pci=nommconf I still can't install from the CD! Yes, I have tried burning a few CD's too. |

Sorry I don't know why that's happening to you, but you're not alone. I had two CD that past the check sum and looked good, but I kept going back and forth between two different CD's. I don't know why that happens. I had a few major problems and still have few minor problems getting 5.5 installed on my DG965WH board. I eventually got it up and running by using the dragon2 option when booting. I never knew about using that switch option. Not much help, but that's my two cents. |
