Hi, I have a Shuttle SN41 (small form factor) machine that I want to boot of CD as a frontend. I have couple of issues: 1. the LAN port is not recognized by the Kernel. I had to install a LAN adapter in the only open PCI slot in the machine and now it is fine. The only issue is that if later on I want to make this machine as a backend, I have no slots left for the video capture card. 2. I get the machine to come up as a frontend and works fine with the CRT, but the TV cannot sync to the SVIDEO output. I searched the forum and found some settiings in the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. The problem that I have is that I boot off the CDROM and not the hard disk, is there any other way to get the TV out working. I have used the tv mode at the bootup time so that the resolution is at 800x600. Any help would be gratly appreciated. Best Regards, --Pirooz |
