I'm looking for an IRC client that I can run (and leave running) on my Knoppmyth box. Something that I can access remotely with ssh would be ideal or maybe even vnc. Installing and using Knoppmyth has been my only contact with Linux, but I'm becoming more of a fan all the time. I'm not too afraid of the cli and use putty quite a bit. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks, Zig |

I use the chatzilla plugin for iceweasel. I usually have it running in the background behind the myth gui. I have an IR wireless keyboard with a little g spot for a mouse. Alt-tab switches to chatzilla. alt-tab again to get back to the frontend. |

Thanks for the info. Does iceweasel need to be installed too, or is it already in knoppmyth and just needs to be started? |

you should be able to open a terminal, (Alt-x) type su (to login as root) and then do apt-get install iceweasel. |
