does anyone know how to get midentify in Arch? It is supposed to be included with mplayer but it doesn't appear to be installed or in the repository. Or Does anyone know of a way to transcode and crop out the black bars / borders around some of my recordings. I found a script that uses mencoder (I think) but relies on midentify to get information about the file you pass it. the script can be found here |

Never heard of it. There is a package in the AUR that might do what you want. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23609 |
