I recently did a fresh install of 8.4.1 and installed Chrome. Things are working quite nicely once I figured out how to prevent MythTV going into standby in the middle of an early morning recording. But with Chrome, I can't seem to control window behavior: once I use the window control to go into full screen, I can't reduce it. If, instead, I try to reduce it, I can't seem to get it back. I suppose I could go into the terminal and kill the process if it is still going, but that seems a bit awkward. Any other suggestions? Or maybe I should just leave it alone ... I can go into full-screen mode in Netflix and return without problem, so this isn't really a major problem. |

Those don't seem to work if the window is hidden. What did work was to open a terminal, and to get a list of windows: Code: wmctrl -l and then to activate the window Code: wmctrl -a chrome or to get the full wmctrl help Code: wmctrl -h|less The text after the -a is a case-insensitive search term to activate the specified window ... nifty! Hope this will help someone else. |
