The first poster is not having the "blinky keyboard lights" problem from what he's said, the BIOS is just refusing to boot from his HD. The latest guy is just confusing the two issues.

I was hoping the JB would reappear in the hardware forum but he seems to have disappeared. Oh well. Maybe he figured out the problem?

it might help, I had a problem like it and did something very close to described there.
