I need a new tv for my workout room. I have a old computer lying around and a old monitor that will function great. The old sytem is an p4 1.5 gigahertz, an old s3 video card (im surprized that that thing still works), an 3dvision pv-951tf tv tuner card, 256 megs of ram, 40gb hard drive. I have read that the video card really matters, but will the cpu be able to compensate for the older video card? Also the tv tuner card has a remote built in. Will I be able to control Mythtv with this? I dont really care about recording and pausing live tv. All I want out of this is to be able to view dvds, watch tv, and listen to music.
