I hope this is the right place to post and yes, I've already searched through the old posts.

My frontpanel usb ports work just find, and using mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb, I can access the camera or usb drive with no problems.

What I'd like to do is to have the drives automatically mounted when I plug in the device and unmounted when I remove it. I've searched on google a lot, and found out usbmount, which does exactly what I want. If I try to apt-get usbmount there is dependency after dependency which I can't resolve.

So how can I automatically mount and unmount usb drives in R5A16?

Not to sound ungrateful, but that doesn't really help me, because I have the exact same problem as that person, and their problem didn't seem to get rectified. I was hoping for an alternative solution.

Thanks for replying.
