Just checked my syslog and noticed hundreds of these: Code: Sep 21 20:31:17 mythtv dhclient: DHCPREQUEST on eth0 to 192.168.0.1 port 67
Sep 21 20:31:17 mythtv dhclient: DHCPACK from 192.168.0.1 Sep 21 20:31:17 mythtv dhclient: bound to 192.168.0.101 -- renewal in 56 seconds. Is this a problem? My computer has been hanging every few hours lately. Seemed to stop responding over the network and to my remote, but pressing the reset button did get a "reset" logged in syslog so maybe it's not completely stuck. |

well renewal in 56 seconds is a bit odd. you should probably check your dhcp server and see what your lease time is set to. sounds like one minute leases which is pretty ridiculous. |
