Is there any reason to migrate from XFree86 to X.org? I have heard that there is better driver support for ATI Radeon cards.

Has anybody tried the steps documented at http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/185 ??

If so, please let me know how you went. I need to find out how risky it is before I attempt on my own box.

This is just my opinion, but I'd rather pony up a few bucks for an nvidia card than spend hours trying to get an ATI card to work. Some battles just aren't worth it :?
