Question: Any ideas on how to get my Directron IR keyboard and Streamzap remote to play nicely together?

I recently got my lirc files set up so my Streamzap remote works beautifully with both MythTV and Xine. I just got a Directron IR keyboard (not USB, but with a PS/2 connector), which, as expected, worked perfectly right out of the box. Unfortunately, the IR signals from the keyboard's built-in mouse are similar to something that Streamzap sends out and it causes my entire system to lock up completely. I currently have the two IR receivers as far apart as possible, but it makes using the keyboard and remote rather awkward. I realize I could reprogram the Streamzap remote to send out keyboard commands to the Directron's IR receiver, but then I'll have to give up some of the remote mappings specific to Xine that MythTV doesn't have.
