Hello,

I've got my "Dragon" KRP box pretty much running (after dealing with some minor issues:
http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7114
)

Anyhow - I've added a new tuner card -- the PVR-150.
Why? B/C I can't get ComedyCentral OTA and my cable is NTSC.

Anyhow here's the vitals:

R5A26
KRP Dragon hardware (with larger HDD - but same make/type)

Code:
ivtvctl -d /dev/video1 -a

tells me that the card is installed correctly.

I kill the backend and run mythtv-setup

I add new card with:
type - PVR-250/350
video dev - /dev/video1
Default input - Tuner 0

I added a new video source with the name "SD-Cable"

I connected "SD-Cable" to [MPEG : /dev/video1 ] (Tuner 0)

And then:
Scan for Channels doesn't allow me to choose this card as the "Capture Card"; the capture card is stuck at "DVB : 0" - which is my HD3000 card.
I want to do an NTSC scan on my MPEG card - rather than another ATSC scan on my DVB card.

How do I get around this?
I see that there are a few others out there that have DVR-x50 cards working with HD3000 cards. What's the trick?

Thanks!

Sean

You don't scan fo channeles with SDTV you get them from a data feed like zap2it. Go read the installation instructions or the MythTV docs where is talks about how to do this. http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO.html
