have installed Knoppmyth. I get a black screen when I start "watch TV" it starts up with

1:Television

in the upper left hand corner, and from time to time a bar comes up on the bottom with the time in the upper right, but doesn't matter what I press (except esc) I cannot get it to do anything. My video card is a Sabrent SBT-TVFM (phillips saa7130 chipset) According to dmesg and is set at

card=42 tuner=17

In the initial setup for mythtv, it asked about a capture card and where the /dev file is. How do I find this info? Is this the correct info to be looking for?

Second I cannot play a DVD. Have looked at the devices. all seem to be in order. Do I need add-ons for this package?
