ok i have a WinTV PVR 150 MCE, I can run "irw" and push buttons on the remote and get the proper corresponding output, I can run MythTV and when I use CHAN UP on remote, the tuner card changes the channel up one, so the remote seems to work.

NOW...the problem is getting the blaster to send the IR to the cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000) . I have a change channel script and it seems to try and work, but when i try to run the send_power.sh script to find out what code powers it off I get the following error:

irsend: command failed: SEND_ONCE blaster 1_400_KEY_POWER
irsend: hardware does not support sending
irsend: command failed: SEND_ONCE blaster 1_401_KEY_POWER
irsend: hardware does not support sending
irsend: command failed: SEND_ONCE blaster 1_402_KEY_POWER
irsend: hardware does not support sending

Of course this is for ALL 600+ lines in the file. I have looked in this forum, I have found all kinds of useful information and I believe that is the reason that I have gotten this far.

I obviously need to find out why I get this error, and the other stupid question I have is, when I get this to work what is going to keep the tuner card from changing channels when I use the remote? The tuner must stay on chan 3, and the cable box channel should change with the change-channel script. That is if I understand this process correctly.

Ok I am starting to ramble, getting late. ANY assistance anyone can give is GREATLY appreciated.
