Post subject:  Everithing work expect TV: only snow
Hi!

After Knoppmyth-Installation everything is running - except TV. But only watching snow is not why I wanted to have an HTPC ;-)

I`ve searched for some reasons (Wiki ans here...)

Only Snow at live TV:

* Wrong frequency set in mythtv-setup
I'm in Germany and "europe-west" is taken

* Falure to set up the card correctly or associate a "video source" with the right input in mythtv-setup
my "source" is connected to Tuner0

* Tuner type is unrecognized by the drivers
How can I check this?

* Tuner type is misconfigured
I have a PVR250 and in the setup this is chosen

* Bad interaction between multiple tuner cards
Only one card

What can I do now?

Bye the way: "setup" told me to start mythfilldatabase manual - but this does not work

It starts and then ends with "Failed to fetch some program info"
ans somewhere "Died at /usr/bin/tv_grab_de_tvtoday line 683

Post subject:  nothing found in log-files
Thanks for this tipp:

I've searched in var/log/dmesg and .../messages.

In both I can't find any "errors" or what looks like

Everythings seems to be ok. The "ivtv-section" looks like everything is ok too.

What are the next steps?
What can I do now?

I still cannot run mythfilldatabase AND see only snow at "live-tv"....
